Para DI w/ hollow body electric

Hi,

I was considering using my Guild M-65 Freshman (hollow body w/ a single P90 in the neck) with my acoustic board.

I'd go straight into the input of the Para DI with a few effects in the loop.

Any reasons why I shouldn't do this?

Hi Harper,

No reason you shouldn't do it. I connect the signal from the P-90 in my solid body to the Para DI for a clean gain boost. It boosts the whole signal but has the great effect of lifting the lower end of your dynamic range which increases sustain, especially noticeable if you are using an overdrive effect.
