Hello ,
i just built a kneckset gutair and installed 2 splitcoil humbuckers and
a baggs x- bridge non trem.
The magnetic pickups work but i cannot get anything but a loud buzz when i blend or
switch to the acoustic side. Have double checked wiring , obviously a grounding issue i am missing!!
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Lonnie,
I would recommend checking the wiring at the summing board for the X-Bridge. If any of those pads are connected to ground, the whole bridge would be shorted to ground and not pass any signal.

By sthe summing board you mean under the bridge it self??
It's where the leads from the bridge are summed into a single wire lead.

i checked my bridge last night and the solder tab pulled loose,
Is there a way to reattatch this ??
It didnt seem to take solder
Did the solder pull off of the bridge, or the summing board?
