Para DI EQ questions...

Hi everyone! First time poster with some questions about the Para DI, specifically the EQ functions.

I couldn't seem to find these specifics in the manual or on the product page on the website...

- Are the 5 bands of EQ all peak filters or are the LOW & TREBLE shelving filters?

- for the peak filters, what is the Q and/or bandwidth of the filters?

Hi Patrick,

All 5 cut/boost controls are peak filters. The Notch and Midrange bands also have pots to tune the center frequency of those filters.

My angle on technical support deals more with using the products as designed and I don't have documentation of the Q and bandwidth for each EQ band. I can say that it is optimized for acoustic instrument signals.

If you need more detailed info, I'll need to consult with our engineers. Please reply if it's crucial to know.

Para DI EQ:

Low: +/- 12dB @85Hz
Notch: +/- 6dB @ 98Hz-247Hz
Midrange: +/- 12dB @ 400Hz-1.6kHz
Presence: +/- 6dB @ 5kHz
Treble: +/- 12dB @ 10kHz
