Buffer Jack Mixing Accessory
A Simple Solution

Eliminates Mic/Pickup Crosstalk Eliminates Batteries On Your Guitar Forever*
Preserves the Fidelity of Your Pickup

Designed to work with the Mixpro, the Buffer Jack will allow you to run a passive pickup and a mini-mic side by side down any length of stereo cable without any crosstalk or bleed from the mic into the pickup signal. The Buffer Jack is powered by the Mixpro or any outboard stereo preamp with 9V phantom power available on the tip channel. Hence, it also gets rid of those obnoxious onboard batteries.

The circuit itself buffers any high impedance piezo pickup, such as the Ribbon Transducer, and sends a low impedance pickup signal out of the guitar. This low impedance signal is immune to crosstalk from the already low impedance mic signal. Basically the outboard preamp thinks that it is seeing two low-impedance mics. The series signal path consists of only a single hand selected FET and runs in pure Class A for the ultimate in sweetness, clarity and low noise.

* When used with any outboard mixing preamp with 9V Phantom power such as the L.R. Baggs Mixpro.
